What a nightmare! It really depends how much weight you've put on in the past couple of months, if the dress is just a little on the snug side or if it literally will not go on. But I'd think you could lose around 6 pounds in 2 weeks without TOO much trouble if you go on a really strict diet, but I hasten to add that after the prom you should go back to eating sensibly - crash dieting is NOT a good way to lose weight, but in situations like this it's sometimes the only option. The other thing you could consider is buying some of that special underwear that "holds you in" and can usually cut an inch or so off your waist etc, although it's pretty uncomfortable to wear!!! Good luck, and I hope you manage to fit into that dress and enjoy your prom.

First of all, DON'T PANIC!!!
For the following days try to eat vegetables, fruit,drink lots of water and avoid fat!(chips, fast-food etc)
But whatever you do, do not starve to death!You want to sparkle that day after all, not to look exhausted and...hungry!!!
Relax, you're too nervous about the prom!!!
Wish U the best!

If you exercise every day you may lose 3 - 4 lb week (this is not ideal over a longer period!), just keep your fingers crossed its enough;

you are on the right track but you need to seriously burn callories to succeed. do plenty of core exersizes that will tone your abs like crunches, (but don't over do it or you will be hurting for a couple days), plenty of cardio to burn callories and get your heart going, you should not have to much problem.

You can always try a seamless corset bra (that will take you in about 1")
You can find them at http://www.PromDressShop.com click on lingerie tab
