Yes it it......in certain states. Some states, like Philadelphia, won't allow first cousins to marry, while other states, like I think New Jersey (though not 100% sure on that one) do. So it depends on where they live, and how for they are willing to travel to get married. (Keep in mind though that if they ever decide to have children, they are taking certain risks. The closer you are related to someone you have kids with, the higher your risks of birth defects and other problems).

Sure is! Actually this is not, nor ever was uncommon. First cousins are allowed legally to marry, and in Italy many years ago that's just what happened.
In this country people frown upon it and is taboo, however, it certainly is legal and common in many other countries. I wouldn't call it crazy, just crazy in love!
