Yes, I do. He learned it from my neighbour's cat. They somehow maneouvre their claws between the rubber seal and the plastic and lift it up that way. Clever little buggers, aren't they?

Hi i have a male cat who i have had for 13years and he is able to open the cat flap when it is closed, i have noticed if the flap is locked to go out but open to come in he will get his nail under the ridge and flip it open so he can then get out.

Yea, my grandma does. Her cat wants to get in sooooo bad that it just bangs it's head against it untill she gets in. My grandmas catflap is nailed shut and it still gets in.

No but I've got a dog flap big enough that my 16 yr old uses it as a door too.
He's lost so many keys in the past that now he just uses the dog flap (my dogs a Great Dane)

I had a cat that could open drawers and cupboard's after I secured them with bungee cords

yes mine have done it i also had a 2 and a hlf yr old here visiting who thought hed try to get out the flap foot and head he got his foot stuck but not sure i beliebve him about the head lol

I would try boarding up the flap and locking it.

nope. but my cat used to slit our window screens and get in that way.
