depends on the hospital. some yes and some no..also depends on the councelor and the reason they are in there. call the hospital and find out if that person is allowed a visit they will get the ok from the patient and the dr if visits are allowed.

It all depends on what the person is in for and how long they have been in there. If the person just went in then generaly nobody other than family is allowed. If the person is planning a rather long stay then exceptions can be made. As long as you are not a negative influence in their lives or cause stress you may get into see your friend, but again it all depends on the situation.

That would depend on what is wrong with them, how they are being helped there, and what their doctor says about visitors (positive or negative).

You could call the hospital and see if they have any set rules on visitors--or if it is a case-by-case doctor decision.

It really depends on the hospital. Sometimes, there is a list that you have to be on and also the patient has to be able to see visitors.
