I have been talking to a guy since October & things were fine up until late December when he told me that he wasn't ready for a relationship because he's starting back to college but he hoped we could date eventually. We have still been hanging out, we got drunk on New Years & we couldn't be separated and I asked him if he really liked me and he said yeah and I asked him why he used to excuse about college and he said look the college is only half and hour away...but it seems like the only time we have good talks is when we are drunk..they say the truth comes out when you're drunk but I don't know.. what does it seem like to you? Should I wait it out and see how things go or just move on? I really do have strong feelings for him by the way...

Maybe he wants to take college seriously or maybe he is afraid that he might meet a girl that has more in common in college so he doesn't want to make a commitment to you he can't keep. He says he likes you. Sounds like he is just being honest. If you get along well together when your not drunk then date him when you can but don't wait for a commitment. Move on and if it becomes serious along the way then all the better. Good Luck

If you have strong feelings for him and you talk while you are drunk then I think you can both change this fact. When you are both sober and if you make a concerted effort to communicate, I think things can work out for both of you if you really care for each other. The question is whether he has the same feeling for you that you have for him. If he does then you both have a good chance that things will develop for both of you however, if not then the chances are not good and you should move on as should he also.

Is this your child in the pic very cute, its hard to give people advice but it does look like U have feelings for this man but do you do the same thing when your sober instead of being drunk? why would you want a relationship like this if your drunk all the time i rather be sober and be happy then to turn out to be a alcoholic and be happy i would let him go if he loves you and cares for you he will be back and do the right thing (DON'T YOU THINK)

Perhaps you need to be honest with him about your 'strong feelings'. Maybe you should tell him how you feel about him (when you're both sober) -but don't sound too full-on, just tell him how attracted you are to him and ask if he feels the same way too. If he want to make it serious, great for you. If he doesn't, at least you know for sure and can stop wasting time on him. It's scary to do, but if you don't tell him you'll never know.

i say wait foo...
it seems as though u care for him....
but u need to show that you're not just someone to be flirted with 24/7.... ask him again how he truly feels.... tell him exactly what u put here on yahoo answers... (about drunk stuff & such).... and say that you feel if he doesn't care about u like this then u'll move on... if he truly cares about u... he'll tell u the truth...

when they say truth comes out when your drunk they are talking about flaws... like you've lied about something and it just slips out when you are drunk. But when it gets to something important like a relationship no way! Talk to him straightforwardly (when you are sober) and set things straight.

the fact that it changes when he gets drunk isnt really suprising.
sounds like you are physically attrcted to this person, but they don't find you that physically attractive. that's funny when someone decides their feelings for someone based on looks.
basically, if you're not hot... you dont need to fall for people based on looks... unless you like the feeling of rejection
