What do you consider harmless flirting? How sexual are your comments? Would it trouble you if she were saying similar things to guys?
If you are concerned enough to ask, chances are you are feeling guilty. Perhaps you should find something else to do when you are bored that won't give you a guilty conscience.

she would most probably be devastated. Even though you are not having physical intimacy (yet?) there's only a fine line between the two. You are giving attention to other women and maybe implying sexual matters. How do you know you might not want to take things further? Curiosity sometimes gets the better of us. It's all wrong. To me what you are doing is the same as going out to bars and chatting up and flirting with girls . But you are not single, you are in a relationship, it's all so wrong. You should stop. It's not fair on your girlfriend and it's not fair on the girls you are chatting to either.
Maybe you are bored / unhappy in your relationship hence the need to look somewhere else. Try to find the real reason behind your behaviour. If you are bored and just want to have 'fun' there are m

To my opinion it is the same as cheating. If your girlfriend knew she would most probably be devastated. Even though you are not having physical intimacy (yet?) there's only a fine line between the two. You are giving attention to other women and maybe implying sexual matters. no b/c u cant fool urself. eventually some feeling might get stirred, your curiosity might get the best of you and ull want to meet one of these girls. I mean how bored are you? Why dont u read magazines or books? You can be online but instead do productive things read educational things, find ways to get more money, save money, you know stuff like that. Harmless. Think aout how your girlfriend would feel. Think about how you would feel if she was doing the same. I dont even believe you. How can you flirt online without mention of sex or innuendos? plus u can never know, the other person might actually be having hopes of meeting u and their feelings are growing. In a nitshell i think u should stop.

well first ask yourself how would you feel if your girlfriend was doing the same exact thing with the same intentions. If you feel like it would not hurt you or make you feel like she was cheating on you then it is not cheating. I would say talk to you girlfriend and tell her that you get bored at work and do harmless flirting on the internet as long as at the same time you are truly serious about it not being serious and just for fun. You may be surprised that your girlfriend treasures your honesty she may even join in and tell you what to say to them. It could also be another way to get you and your girlfriend closer together.

I don't thnk so, BUT, I think you need to check your relationship. Because if your actually open to talking to random girls, there is a void that isn't being filled by your girlfriend. I know I would want to know if my special someone was even interested in flirted with others, on the internet or anywhere. Also, if you are bored at work, sheesh, find something else to work on or work somewhere else. You shouldn't be getting paid to flirt on their time..... *G*

it's definitely wrong. just think if this harmlessly flirting did actually hurt your girlfriend if she found out. Not to mention that you seem like a predator on the internet. Don't do it. There's nothing good to come out of it for you or anyone else.

Freaky,
Get a new job and stop fooling around with the internet. Work really hard instead of day dreaming your life away. That way you can make lots of money and your girlfriend will want to have sex with you all the time which will make you uninterested in flirting on the internet with other losers daydreaming at work. You will see I am right one day grasshopper.

In my eyes, yes it is. Lust is cheating. Even if it is what you call "harmless flirting", if your girlfriend knew she would be hurt. I am sure you can find something better to do with your downtime at work. Try doing something like write your girl lil' love notes or something. If you can't stop flirting with random internet girls, you have a problem!

Obviously, you seem to think that it could possibly be, otherwise you wouldn't be asking...
There is always a possibility that you could have an argument with your girlfriend and have built up a relationship with one of these 'random' girls and decide to meet up for a drink, and then things may go further.....
