The Jesus you speak of is the Son of God....whom YOU will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face on Judgement day.
I might suggest that you take care with what you say about Jesus, the Living God, if only in jest.
You will have to answer for your words at that time.

"But I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak,
they shall give account of it in the day of judgement.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words
thou shalt be condemned."
The words of Jesus Christ
Matthew 12:36-37

No "great man" said that.

This is an example of the empty threats of the God-based religions.

I shall show you the power of truth and you may judge for yourself before morning...

Strike me dead today if I am wrong...

There is no God. Allah is a fake, (Piss be upon him), Mohammad was a liar, Jesus was not born by virgin birth and was just a man like any other, (except that he was possibly delusional.) The holy books are all man made and are completely void of any divine influence. There is no Holy ghost ... there are no Jinn ... no angels ... no Heaven or Hell ... the Jews are only chosen by their own false claims ... faith in spirits is BS.

I'll see you all later. I'm going to watch a football game now.

Almost bed time... yawn... and I'm looking forward to a long winter's nap, (but I will very, very, very likely be here again in the morning, won't I?)

Pst - "great" is the "least" of (great -> greater) -> greatest.
Charity never faileth cause it's "greatest" of "three things".
In which (law/grace) things are an "allegory": Galatians 4.

Law "was": "great": a "great terror"-ist: Deuteronomy 34:12.
http://www.godshew.org/Law.htm

The law (and lie) was given by Moses,
But grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
(obviously for comparison of lie and truth)

JC said of himself: a "greater" than Jonah & Solomon is here.
JC notably brought grace and truth: "greater" than law and lie.
As for "great" tribulation, he gave it "no place" at all in Mt 24:21.

So let "great" be what it was: "beginning", notably of "sorrows".
Let's move on, from great to greater, as if from good to better.
For law "both good + evil"; grace "good" only, which is "better".
(pst: Hebrews 11 conclusion says God provided "better" for us)
(pst: New Testament called "better testament" with "better hope")
But also leave good/better "principles"; "go on unto perfection":
http://www.godshew.org/Hebrews7.htm

Pst - "perfect"("merciful") is what's best for all of three things:
http://www.godshew.org/Best.htm

The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord J->C with you all. Amen.

By this standard who among us could stand? I will be relying exclusively upon the grace purchased with his shed blood. Beyond that, there is enough in my debit column that I'm skeptical that my words will make much difference.

Words are very important. Everything God created He created with words. If I am created in His image then my words are very important. I can do good with them or I can create evil.
I pray this verse very often:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, in Jesus name, Amen.

To an all knowing God every single word, though or action would've been known to that God before he created anyone!!
SO WHY IF HEW DOESN'T WANT YOU SAYING, THINKING, OR DOING SOMETHING WOULD HE CREATE SOMEONE THAT HE KNEW FULL WELL WOULD DO IT!!!!

CHRISTIANS YOU WANT TO SAY WE HAVE FREEWILL BUT IF WE EXERCISE THAT FREEWILL IN A WAY THAT DOES FIT WITHIN YOUR IDEAS THEN WE ARE EVIL?????

THIS IS INSAINITY!!!

You are close, those are the words of the Savior. However His name meant YHVH is my Savior, and so His name was YAHOSHUA! Ex.23:13 tells us not to use the names of pagan mighty ones, so "Hail Zeus" or "Iesus" or "God" are no-nos for believers, those who try to please the Creator!!!

Luke 23:34
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Not only is every idle word recorded but every penny and "farthing" is calculated.
its not the true believer that will go to hell, its every person who claims to be a priest, every person who claims to be the voice of God and the servant of righteousness, who will go to hell, if that person is completely True in his testimony.
