I got reported for saying this answer on the President of India's same question, but here it goes anyway.

I think that NATO should help arm (guns not appendages) every or most persons on earth. Seriously, imagine how hard it would be for a terrorist to hijack a plane or blow up a restaurant when literally every person near by would have the means of stopping them. Terrorism would be completely eliminated in a few years.

Some people say that then there would be more crime. Not true, studies have shown that states (in America) that allow citizens to carry concealed weapons have less crime. Arming the world would not only eliminate terrorism, but I think would greatly reduce crime in general.

How our terrorist problems SHOULD be solved can be summed up in two words: nuclear strikes. I guarantee that if we start nuking terrorist strongholds, the terrorist attacks will stop. The ONLY way to get an enemy such as this to stop is to eradicate them from the face of the earth...nothing less than total annihilation will work. They absolutely WILL NOT STOP unless they're all dead, and they have told us so in plain language.

How our terrorist problems CAN be solved isn't so easy. Talking won't help; appeasement won't help. Europe tried both, and is even now considering instituting a "Muslim Day" to appease them, and the thanks they get are train station and subway bombings.

Which brings us right back to my first statement. Knowing that we will never use nuclear weapons in a "first strike" manner (a policy which I wholeheartedly agree with), I think that the only way we're ever going to get the terrorist to leave us alone is to kill them. All of them. Every last one. Use conventional weapons, use knives, guns, bombs, rocks, sticks, whatever....but they ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT STOP until they are dead.

And that's a fact.

Scooter by your answer one thing is obvious, you have never been in the military and your so called answer #6 is ridiculous. We all forget how the terrorist will hold our soldiers hostage and then remove their heads as they are pleading for their life's. Making some rule that states that we can not or they cannot torture is like playing some kinda game like Simon Sez, "you can not torture us". Those laws are already in place that is why I can tell you have no clue about the military rules of engagement!!!

not in any respect. Our immigration difficulty is on the Mexican boarder. South u.s. is like 20904% Catholic/Christian. (certain, i recognize that isn't any longer an precise %.) Banning the worship of Allah might want to do no longer some thing in any respect to electrify our immigration difficulty. As for terrorists... The terrorists out to get us are from countries the position they could worship Allah. they arrive over with the point to attack us. (a minimum of they did on 9/11) What strong might want to banning the worship of Allah of human beings allready contained in the country, who've been peacefull all alongside? Banning Allah might want to in user-friendly words serve to strengthen terrorism by technique of allowing radical fundamentalists the room to say to at least some thing else of the international, 'see how u.s. hates our faith! they are no longer after terrorism, they are after Islam!' apart from that, that banning Allah does no longer settle on both difficulty you listed, yet might want to probobly improve one among them, it would want to be completely unconstitutional to do this variety of component. Freedom of religion is between the important FOUNDING principals upon which this usa become equipped. Why no longer merely ban ALL worship? issues can be a lot extra effective if we did no longer have a religious divide. (tounge firmly in cheek)

i know it will get plenty of thumbs down, but here goes. there is no "our terrorist problem",it is a problem for/of the whole world. the UN and NATO should handle it. it should be adressed by the world, with joint cooperation by all nations.
a realistic solution to a world problem.

edit. not blackmail, more like extortion and even israel is guilty of extorting the US. research 1973 yom kippur war,it was ended by extorting the US for more weapons through the threat of using nukes.

They hate us because their religion demands they wage war against "unbelievers" until Islam dominates the world. Even if they whole world decided to join their stone age cult.. we'd still have them killing because somebody is part of a different branch of the same cult.

It's pretty much impossible for outsiders to force a religion to reform itself, so we're left with hunting them down wherever we can find them.

This is the toughest question that the US has had to deal with since Vietnam and you find a way to simply ask the question with no follow up.
