You know you do not HAVE to join the Eastern Star. This is a form of Freemasonry called "Co-Masonry" which admits women to all the rites that men can attend. My lady and I are both Co-Masonic Brothers. Fact is, there are more women in most of the Lodges than men.

No matter what, Freemasonry does not look to divide a couple. Strange that you did not get interviewed by the Lodge he is joining. We in Co-Masonry try to find out if there will be a problem before we admit anyone.

And yes, it does take a little mony for the clothes and all, but it is not excessive. We do not require people to be rich. I am in Lodge with poodle groomers, used book sellers, nannies, teachers, lawyers, accountants, massage therapists.

If I can be of any service, feel free to contact me or take a look at the website below for more info on Co-Masonry.

Let him join and join Eastern Star. The masons are just a group of men who believe in acceptance no matter who you are. Eastern Star is a group that teaches some of the same values but, you have to be a wife, sister, or granddaughter of a mason to be elligible to join. If money is your only concern. Talk to your chapter/lodge and see if they can help you out in anyway. Usually they have money set away to help out in situations like yours.

Does he call and ask you if it is ok before he ties his shoe?
Don't try to take over his life/decision making. Let him do what he wants to do. There is nothing wrong with masonry, just a few false rumors spread by the Catholic church. It is really shallow to say you are loosing trust in him because of that. Loosen up. Let him do it. Don't worry.

No you are wrong the financially wealthy just run the thing and reap all the benefits. The poorer people are just the lap dogs who run all the errands and feel they are a part of something important. Sort of like it is in Church. BB Boop Oop A Doop

Masons are bound by secrecy, so don't take it personal. If you promised your mom not to tell anyone something she told you, and he kept bugging you about it and got upset, how would you feel? By the way, Masonry is nothing but a bunch of old men gathering to play Dungeons and Dragons, nothing more...

Do your homework. I am confident that freemasonry and all of the surrounding stuff has to do with worship of the Adversary. If you are a believer, you are commanded not to do it! I guess you already know that and that is why you feel ill at ease. RUN, DON'T WALK TO THE EXIT!!!!

Let him do it. Don't let it bother you. Let himn know about your financial problem, and he might let down just a little bit.

You'll hear the name of the "devil" later on.

1) punctuate.
2) Masonry is a fraternity, little more. Let him have his drinking buddies, it might help him get a better job.
