Whenever I have to do anything with another person, I start panicking. I get paranoid and nervous. I feel completely worthless, terrified that everything I do is the wrong thing. This goes for everything. I can hardly order in a restaurant, I can't run errands for my parents, I'll walk an extra five blocks to the ATM so I don't have to ask for cash back.
It's really serious, deep and really impacting my life. I only feel confident around my boyfriend, and even then I'm a bit edgy. It's not him at all, I know it's me.
I'm only 14.

In case it's not obvious I need to know what could cause this, it it's normal, if it has a name, if there's medication for it.
Therapy isn't an option.

I actually do do yoga but it doesn't help.
I also have some kind of major hyperactivity problem but I'm not sure what it is yet; my doctor is doing blood tests. But it means I can't slow my mind down to think and I can't sleep.
I can hardly stand to be in an elevator with someone else.

You really should have your parents take you to a physician for this problem. It sounds like you do have some insight about what is going on with your mental processes and you should discuss it with a professional. Sometimes, an anti-anxiety medication will work wonders for such. Good luck, dear one!

definitely anxiety, i'd see a doc, tell your parents. i've got the same thing and the longer you wait, the more anxious you feel, until you do get some kind of help. it really can cripple your life, you panic in any public place, sometimes it gets so bad with me that i freak out over nothing, i'll be sitting on my couch and my heart wont stop pounding and i'm nervous, and there's no explanation other than it's anxiety. millions of people have it, and it's not a fun thing. i'd go try to tell someone and get help..you'll feel better. : )
it could be socialized anxiety disorder, or generalized anxiety disorder, both are anxiety related, but both are different forms of it. i'm on medication for it, klonapin, and i have to take it 3 times a day, but it has helped me so much, i can now do things and think more clearly. but in order to get the medicine, you most likely would have to go to thearapy. i'm telling you, give it a try, and it'll work out. :)
it could be genetic, check with your family to see if anyone else suffers from it, or it could have been something traumatic in your childhood.

It sounds like you have pretty severe Social Anxiety and Panic Attacks. It is treatable with medications but therapy is usually required for a while as well. Since you're only 14, tell your Mom or Dad how bad this problem is for you and I'm sure they will help you get treatment. If you can't tell them, go to a counselor or teacher at your school and ask for help. This is a pretty common problem and no one is going to think any less of you.

Social Anxiety - Social Phobia, or Social Anxiety Disorder, is an anxiety disorder characterized by overwhelming anxiety and excessive self-consciousness in everyday social situations. Social phobia can be limited to only one type of situation — such as a fear of speaking in formal or informal situations, or eating or drinking in front of others — or, in its most severe form, may be so broad that a person experiences symptoms almost anytime they are around other people. (NIMH)
I have social phobia, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, panic attacks, and depression... yes that sounds like a lot but they generaly fall into the same catagory - Anxiety
I have come to realize that CONTROL is the issue, we need to have the feeling like we are in controll, no this does not mean we are controll freaks, we dont want to controll others we simply want to control ourselves and with this disorder we constantly feel like we are loosing control.
I first started off taking paxil, I wouldnt recommend paxil because it causes weight gain.
I then moved onto Cipralex, I have only been on it for about 2 months now, I was on paxil for like 5 years. So far Cipralex has been ok, but I have added Wellburtin to the mix because of depression.
You can get through this, its alot about taking baby steps and talking yourself into things instead of talking yourself out of things. Behaviorual Therapy is often used to treat these disorders.

It sounds like you are suffering with social anxiety and panic attacks. You can read about both of these at:
http://www.about.com
Type in "mental health" in their search box in the upper right hand corner--from there you can read about all types of symptoms, causes and cures. You can take tests to see what it is--you can read peoples words in forums--or ask your own question. You can read on-site, and even have newsletters relating to these problems sent to your email weekly.
However, you still need to see a doctor. You need a professional diagnosis, and possibly some medication and/or therapy. These do help--I know, it runs in our family.
Seek help and be well.

Chemical substances secreted by a variety of body organs that are carried by the bloodstream seem to be imbalanced. Check with an endocrinologist.

It's hard. I know it well from when I was going through hard family times. Try and get out more with people other than your boyfriend in some kind of activity. Something physical would help you relax and get more confident.

Honey, you need to talk to your doctor about this. It's no way to live. Your insecurities are getting in the way of living your life to the fullest. The doctor can suggest medications that can help you through this.
