"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was with God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made by him and without him, nothing that was made was made." That's Jesus, according to the apostle John in his gospel, chapter 1 first few verses.

Jesus of Nazareth, or Yeshua was the Word of God who came in the flesh for the atonement of our sins. Some want to make him just a prop hit, or call on a bunch of other Jesus names. There was only one, and He was the one. Get your Bible I'm giving you a quick lesson. Lets look in the first book of the Bible. In the first chapter it is filled with references of God speaking. God said, God called and God spoke. Then later on the devil in the form as a snake asked Eve. "Hath God said ?" Deut 8:3 It's by the Word of God that you & I live. Isa: 40:8 The Word of God stands. Mark 7:13 Man's traditions make the Word of God to no effect. First John 1:1 He is the Word of Life. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. There is more. I just don't have room to type it all. Get you a concordance and look up the words, Word, beginning and God. It's true that there is not a book called the word of God. However all over the Bible it's applied. So by indirect reference the Bible is the Word of God. Because it's full of what He said. Is'nt it about time you got full of what He said? Also you can only say that Jesus is your Lord and Savior by the Holy Ghost. Is'nt it about time, that you admitted Jesus of Nazereith was the Word of God who came in the flesh? If you can't say that last line I just gave you, then you have a problem. You need to make it right with God for your own benefit. I hope you listened and this helped you today.

The Holy Bible is the word of God. Pray to God and mean it before you read your Bible. The holy Spirit will inspire you to understand. You will be able to feel it.

In Biblical times the concept of your words (and the breath that came out of your mouth) were strongly linked to the idea of your spirit or at least something from within you going out from who you are and into another person. By speaking you were giving something of yourself.

John spells out in his first few verses that Jesus is the Word of God (Logos in Greek - the personification of Platos idea of Divine wisdom).

Personal encounter with Jesus is what you encounter in the Bible if you're up for it - you might not feel anything but if you're willing to be changed by it - you can encounter something of the living God... if you want

There is one true God. If you can imagine God on top of a mountain. The different religions are ways up the mountain to God. I, as a Baptist, have one path to the top of the mountain or God. A Hindu has another path. A Jew yet another etc. I believe God provided a path to him for all people, just not the same path for every one.

Supposedly the Bible was transcribed by people, prophets, on earth that God spoke to. Basically, he told them what to write. In reality, it was written by a bunch of dudes who were kindof like the hippies of 2000 years ago.

If your trying to look for the word of god, your in bad luck my friend, because no one can ever know whats the word of god, because no one knows god and if you try to look for god, your going to be lost because god can't be found, can't be imagine, can't be described, can't be seen, can't be felt. And if you try to imagine, described, see, or feel. Its not god, its a made up god, a tribal god to the degree that it belong to you and you belong to it. Its like trying to image a square-circle, a square and a circle make one object. It can't be done. It makes you wonder, doesn't it.

The whole of Creation is the word of God.
Unfortunately we have been bombarded with words of Pundits who one after the other know how to make 'words" on paper look important.
