I think that now is the time to arrest ALL gang members. There is not a single one that isn't into crime. Civil rights be da*ned, it is now time for us to get tough on them.

What do others think?

Gang member as in recongized gangs that commit crimes. Groups of kids rollerblading is called a club. BIG difference.

And if my kids ever become involved in a gang and commit crimes, then I will turn them in.

How can anyone honestly feel like they have to protect their child knowing if he or she had killed someone?

Family is one thing, but the drugs selling, killing, and stuff has to go.

Fair warning too, if anyone EVE sells my kids drugs, I will be the one going tojail for what I do to THEM

The problem is that you would have to define what a gang is. If this were to happen, the police could see 4 or 5 guys in a group who have on the same type of clothes and then call em a gang and arrest them. A day later you find out that it's a dayum roller blading club, not a street gang. Be careful what you ask for. We never want to live in a country where our rights are terribly violated by the lynch mob mentality. What if it were your child who was locked for being in a gang, when in essence, all he or she did was hang out with a group of law abiding kids?

no many how many gang members you arrest there is always someone else that wants to be a ""WANNA BE GANGSTER"/gang member, and most of your members have their connections to the outside world while they set in jail. It is just another revolving door.

You could do that but then the black leaders would claim we are being racist and profiling.
**ck the gangs and lock em up I say. We have enough children dying from these *ssholes.

If this had happened in Iraq, all the liberals would be demanding we come home.

(Do you think liberals want us to abandon that city and withdraw all law enforcement in surrender?)

What we need is to start killing them.

You have to go for the root cause of the problem. 'Getting tough' will change nothing and probably lead to even more violence
