The photograph "lunchtime atop a skyscraper" was taken by Charles Clyde Ebbets on Sept 29, 1932 during construction of the GE building. The people in the photo are in fact native americans as
was suggested by other posts. Though I can't recall the name of the tribe, the group prides themselves on not being afraid of heights. and were important figures in the construction of many early 20th century skyscrapers in New York city

Yes it is, it was taken in New York City in the thirties when they were building the Rockerfeller Centre. The official title is "lunchtime atop a skyscraper" and many of the ones you see are parodies of the real thing. They sell loads of them on postcards at the RC these days

Yes. It's called "Construction Workers Lunching on a Crossbeam, 1932" OSHA wasn't yet formed...obviously.

Yes, it was taken during the construction of what is now known as the GE building at Rockafeller (hope my spelling is correct there) center.

yeah, I think (though I'm not sure) it was taken when the men were building the Chysler building (But then, I'm British, and I don't really know what building they were working on!)

YES, IT IS AN AUTHENTIC PHOTO, BUT ACTUALLY IF THEY FELL WAS ONLY ONE FLOOR, THE ANGLE DONE LOOKS LIKE COMPLETELY IN THE AIR
