Always use caution mixing drugs and alcohol. I would say avoid it, you never know how you're body will react.

As a rule no alcohol should be taken if you are on a medicine that ends with "in" like penicillin, streptomycin etc., and erythromycin is one of them.

Here you go, do you want to get better? Don't drink it alcohol will make your antibiotic erythromycin ineffective, so you will have to take it longer.

hmmm.......yea..... but there MAY be synergistic bad effect on the liver as both may damage the liver so its better not to take chances & take one at a time.
