We have been best friends since 10th grade and I have deep feelings for him. The biggest problem is that he is my ex-boyfriend's best friend. I feel really confused because we are always together and I really like him, but we don't want to betray my ex!

You answered your own question.....your best friend's bestfriend is your ex....you are no longer together. If it makes you both feel any better, then simply ask your ex if this would be a problem. If he is mature enough if should'nt be a problem, if the relationship ended badly you may not receive his blessing. Just do what you feel is right, most of the time our instincs are right on target. What does your ex have to do with anything? Why worry about your ex since he is your ex. It seems to me that you should be able to keep him as a friend and since he is your ex he shouldn't mind who you see or what you do with your time, right? So why be concerned with your ex unless you have strong feelings for him?

forget your ex.
the past is in the past, he's in your past.
so forget him.
focus on your best friend.
however, the major problem is the relationship. you two have been friends for what i interpret as a long time. i went out with my best friend and it was terrible, because we couldn't end up seeing eachother as anything more as just friends.
analyze it a little. is this person really someone you'd want to date? or would you be better off staying as just friends...?

remaining friends could be a great option.. but then again.. you have feelings for this person.. and this could later be the person that makes you happy as a companion.. i would say sit down with the ex and talk to him and see how he feels about the situation.. . . and then go from there.

Very very difficult. It would be up to him if he would want to since it is his friend. That is crazy. however if you see marriage potential you almost have to try it. very tought good luck!!
