Is it a bad sign if your only 16 and 17, and they guy tells you he's so in love with that he wants to marry you? He didn't say any time soon, but when we're both out of college, and ready to settle down. He said I'm the one he wants to be with... Is that bad?
By the way, no, we haven't had sex, nor will we for a least 5 more months.

In five months you STILL won't be old enough or mature enough to consent to sex. Keep your pants on.

well i dont bthink its bad right now he is in love with you and he probary just cant see himself with out you but, you never know you guys still have a little while till college is done with and you guys should definatly not get married till you are both stable enough, so alot can change throughout these years i had my boyfriend tell me when i was 13 he wanted to marry me then when i was 17 he said on my 18th birthday we was going to porpse and he did and we are engaged and have been for 2 and a half years and we are getting married in noveneber so you never know just dont rush onto anything o.k. good luck;0

I would wait, try and wait to have sex until your married obviously would be best. Give it a yr or 2 and see if your still together. Make sure he treats you like a princess that is what a girl deserves, if he forces or pushes you into sex he prolly don't love you. Good luck
Time will tell if he really means it how he treats you for the next yr or 2.

Why is it bad that he wants to marry you? So your 16/17 and he is what, over 18? If that truly bothers then don't go out with older people.

I'm sorry your like trying to make him out to sound like he is weird when in fact he just likes you so much that he is ready for a long term relationship.

By the time your ready for marriage you'll be so different. you're coming to the age when you're changing in to the person your going to be for the rest of you life. The way you want your future to be is hardly the future your going to want in a few years time. even though you two might be perfect for each other now you won't be later. that just how things go. It happened to me and everyone else on the earth, I promise it will happen to you. But what ever happens good luck.

That's a good sign, if he's sincere. At that age, feelings and the hormones people mistake for love are confused. Take it one day at a time. If you're truly in love with him and feel the same way as he does toward marriage after college, go for it.

It's not bad, it's sweet...but do realize it's years down the road and likely won't occur...still, the idea that he cares for you enough to imagine a future with you is flattering.
