My boyfriends a snorer, but I quite like it. At first it was a bit off putting but now I find it really relaxing knowing he's there and alive and well. Just try listening to it in a different light.

I have the same problem, it's so annoying and causes many arguments in our house. Your husband should really be checked out by the doc, mine was and was told the problem should go away when he looses weight. That doesn't help now though!! I haven't tried ear plugs for his snoring although I did use the wax kind that mould to your ear when I worked nights and needed peace and quiet through the day. I'd recommend those. My husband tried one of those wrist bands that gives a mild shock when he snores, that worked for a while but not any more. I notice that he snores more if his pillows aren't just right and his head is at an angle. Plenty fresh air in the bedroom helps too. Good luck

I have the same issue with my newborn. He grunts and groans all night and because I'm a new mom, I find it hard to sleep without jumping at every noise. I'm almost straining to hear everything... My friend told me to get earplugs that will block out some of the sound and it has helped me alot. There are different levels of ear plugs, most that you find in the pharmacies are fairly tame. If you want to get something that blocks out most of the sound you should search for some sites online. I found the expanding foam styles to be much more comfortable and still alows air flow into the ear canal. Silicone styles didn't work at all for me because my ear canal eneded up being moist from wax by the time I woke up in the morning. Not a very comfortable feeling and super ewwww! You probably didn't need to hear that, but I figured that I would let you know just incase you were thinking of this style of earplug.

Been there. Ask your husband if he will try those nasal strips that hold the nasal passages open so he can breathe through his nose and not his mouth where the snoring comes from. Ask him to sleep on his side which helps. If those fail he needs to see an ear, nose and throat specialist,ENT. He could have a nasal polyp that needs to be removed. If he has periods of holding his breath while sleeping, I've heard this could be symptoms of heart disease.Being overweight or overly tired can also cause snoring.

The best ones I've tried are these, they're really soft & don't bother the ears & sem to block out noise quite well: they're called Laser Lite Ear Plugs (c link) from Ebay. about £0.99 plus £0.70 for P&P for 20.
it'll expire in 1 hour, so be quick but there'll be other ones, type in Laser Lite ear plugs in Ebay & you'll find them.

Most chemists sell ear plugs. The wax type is very good. I used them on New Years Eve and didn't hear any of the darn fireworks let off. Brilliant!

When my husband snores I just pull his pubes, then pretend to be asleep when he wakes up !!!!!
It works everytime.
