The security devices at the door can only detect the items with the plastic security device on it, right?
Can it detect items without the security device but with the barcode?
(Because the barcode would be unscanned at the register.)

Wow...you're not only dumb enough to shoplift, but you actually think that the store's security can read bar codes as items leave the store.
Bar codes have nothing to do with store security. Sometimes, the barcode is on a security device/sticker, but the barcode itself has nothing to do with the security.

Alot of items have the security device built into the barcode, or inside the merchandise.
Why would you even ask such a question? Shoplifting is stupid. Don't do it. You'll get caught.

u never know when they hide the plastic thing. depends on what your trying to steal which i hope u get caught if u do. it will beep if you have the tag on and some have the plastics hidden inside the product. for example if your buying a game. the plastic is inside the case so theres no way of removing it
