Have you ever heard of the island of Dominica*not to b mistaken with the spanish Dominican Republic.The island of Dominica which i speak of is the island just north of Martinique.
Reasons why i recommend Dominca Over your above choices

It was rated as the 4th most peaceful placein the world.

Its is not over commercialised nor overcrowded with tourists thus there is not tacky tourist services and atmosphere,as a result it has been branded as the "best kept secret of the Caribbean".

There is a range/choice of accomdation including the ecotourist/nature friendly type which some consists of villas, condos, appartments, rooms nestled and perched in the mountains and forests away from it all in the serenity of nature itself in privacy waking to the bird's symphonies.Or you could settle for the other type of accomdations -all these are listed in the websites below.

It is branded as the "Nature Island of the Caribbean" -over 75%of the island is covered in natual lush green forests.

Many true nature sights to see and even get married at.Perhaps a waterfall?A honey-coloured or black sanded beach?At a river.Or at one of the spots where the movie Pirates Of the Caribbean 2&3 were Filmed.The island has many UNIQUE wonderful spots-uncountable waterfalls,freshwater lakes,sulpher pools and sprinsg etc.

Most of the hotels give a wedding/honey moon package...details would be given in websites provded below.

There are many things to do on the island of Dominica as a couple these include
Snorkelling scuba diving-the island was rated as the #2best spot in the Entire atlantic by reader choice magazine 2007 for scuba dicving and snorkelling.
Whale and dolphin wathcing-Dominica is branded as the "whale watching capital of the Caribbean"
River tubing, kayaking,spending a day at the nature adventure park, atv riding horse back riding, take a boat ride up the famous Indian river(one of the spots where Pirates Of the Caribbean was filmed),Go sighteeing/hiking to places such as our Boiling lake (2nd largest in the world,largest of its kind and only one in the western hemisphere) or just relax on one of our either Black sand or Honey coloured beaches.

I think it depends on type of feel you want for this wedding/honeymoon.

If you want very lush and tropical, but slightly British, you'll choose St. Lucia.

If you want an inexpensive all-inclusive (and you're considering the pocketbook of your guests), then you'll choose Punta Cana.

If you want something a bit more authentic in (French) flavor, then you'll choose Martinique. Of course, you should know some French when you go.

Please make sure you're able to fulfill the marriage requirements for each island - some islands are easier to get married on than others.

St. Lucia is the position to bypass for a honeymoon. that is ranked because the #a million honeymoon destination interior the international through over 4000 holiday brokers and has been for the 4th time interior the purely appropriate 5 years. The island is opulent and eco-friendly with a lot to do. Sandals is a good resources. you isn't upset.

Martinique the people are very friendly and they don't try to steal from you. St. Lucia is sooo commercial.. Not been to Punta Cana.. so can't comment on that one. =o)

if not, you DONT need a passport to travel to and from the US Virgin Islands ( if you're American)
