I was recently very kindly given details how to get rid of IE7 on my computer by going into ''add or remove'' programs and then clicking on updates at the top of the page. However, not only does the page not show IE7 as being there, but there is no ''updates'' at the top of the page to click on. Is there any other way that this can be achieved

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that, restart your PC and you are on IE6

actual. you may. when you're doing this for finding out purposes then you may both... unregister each and each of the inet/IE protocols and DLLs. or you may purely deploy each and each version on a distinct person account. Have each and each account progression by ability of the ranges for each browser. the first account for previously variations of IE, Opera, Netscape and so on. the 2d account for the subsequent version, and so on. and so on. enable quickly person switching ( if it is no longer already on ) and it should not be too a lot of a difficulty. - Hex
