There are different types of belief. Not all Christians are bible thumping fanatics. Some quietly go about their business, don't preach to others, and don't even go to church. Not all Christians take the bible literally. Personally I think the ones that wear blinders and only see words on paper are more to be feared. They really and truly believe that you are going to hell and will burn for eternity. They feel it is their right and even obligation to make you see it their way. If you don't you are evil and sometimes they go over the edge to rid the world of what they see as "evil" Scary bunch.

No they don't give a crap. What do you mean swear? I never heard a believer swear at an atheist anyway. What is the meaning of your question?
Most believers recognize that God is imaginary, but they like to believe they are believers nontheless, it's a social thing; and I've never heard one swear at an atheist.

I don't generally get angry. I feel sorry for you and them. You because of your unbelief and them because they have committed a sin that they will have to pray and be forgiven for. YOU might always be able to study and obey the gospel when and if you choose to do so. I certainly hope that you find the TRUTH prior to your death. Have a great day.

In my belief (which I used to be Baptist) It is a person's own choice what they believe..if they chose not to believe in a god that is there right no one has the right to tell them different..Just as those that choose not to believe don't have the right to tell those that do believe they are wrong..It's all in what you believe, I think it is more along the lines of faith having something better to believe in and look forward to. than just death and the end or reincarnation for those that believe in that.

You bet! Believers should act in a manner that others would want to emulate. But we have as many or more flaws as anyone else. That's why we are striving to better ourselves. You learn every day.
