you can try safe mode, if he hasn't blocked this account out or disabled safe mode. To enter safe mode, keep hitting F8 when you start up your PC, then it will ask you want you want to do, just click safe mode, then you can log in as administrator providing this account wasn't blocked with a password. I think their is a way to get in if both accounts are blocked by a password, but I am not sure, and heard it takes a lot of work. You can also put in the recovery cd that came with your computer, hit F12 and then boot cd which should be option 4. Then you can follow the steps and reformat the whole hard drive. The only problem with this is, everything will get erased. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you have important things on your hard drive.

if he's using genuine microsoft windows & lose the password, bad luck. have to contact microsoft to retrieve a new code (you may have to pay). check & see whether the windows key is sticked under his desktop or laptop
for a fake / pirated microsoft windows cd, there's a software called kengen, you can generate a code when activating the windows product
a friendly advice, buy a new pc with the latest operation system - vista. no point for spending $$ on old os such as windows xp
good luck ^_^

What he can do is to call the internet site help and like Yahoo he has to give certain info and they will reset it for him. That is what happened to me.
Also if there was a way to "Sneak in" could you image the rampart chaos of hacking that would follow. Why think of all the lowly pain corporate workers that would be giving themselves CEO pay. lol
