any dealers have them in stock? I am interested because they have good mpg, look like the old discontinued Cherokee and you can get a real 4WD off road system in them. Anyone have any info?

From what I can tell they have not made it to dealers yet, but they started building them, could be a few weeks to hit dealers. I agree with you looking like the classic Cherokee. As for first year car, all Jeeps have a warranty and I last leased a first year model with minor problems but all were resolved. It is basically a Caliber and Compass which have received many reviews and all use the same parts. I would continue monitoring the Jeep website and check dealer inventory. Let me know when you get one, I have tested the Compass and it drove well.

Not only are there no parts available, but first model year cars alway s have problems. This goes DOUBLE for American cars. First model year is less reliable and has bugs that haven't had a chance to be fixed or re-engineered yet. Bad decision.
