I just want to lose belly fat, and I know cardio just removes fat overall, not just one area. But will doing 100 crunches and jogging for 30 minutes 5 days a week make someone appear slimmer? And about how long would someone see results? I just really want to become leaner & slimmer, I don't care too much on toned or muscular. Thank you

Fat cells never die, they just lose the fat stored in them. To beat this, strengthen your abs to make the fat stick to your stomach and make you thinner.

Try to get a copy of "8-minute abs" I use it and it's great. Basically, crunches alone aren't good enough. There are different regions of the abs, upper abs, lower abs, obliques, and sides. Do different exercises to strength each part

To speed the process, do a little weight training. The added muscle you gain will make you burn more daily energy by increasing your metabolism. Don't worry about looking bulky or buff, women tend to not have enough testosterone to do that, and by sticking to low weight it's hard even for a man to bulk up.

Well dont just do 100 cruches..that doesnt work your full ab area. and Yes I understand you dont care about being toned or muscular.

But I recommend that you follow the toning the tummy workout 6 -5 days a week.
Its a real quick 30 minute excercise routine you can do every morning or everynight before hittin the sack. I do that and a leg workout in the morning and at night. And its make me look slimmer and firmmer while I loose the weight.

leaner and slimmer is toned and unless you do a lot of weights women do not bulk up like men. you can not spot exercise. and on an average you could see results in 6 weeks

there is no such thing as spot toning or losing weight in one area only. yes, jogging will help you lose the weight. however, belly fat is the first place you gain weight and the last place that you lose it. so do not be discouraged if you do not see results right away.

It depends upon how much fat you have. The jogging and the crunches will help but it will take longer than a week to see much results unless you starve yourself and that would not be smart.

sounds like it.................it`s alot of work and I'm sure if you follow through for at least a week your guaranteed to lose at least one pound
