Is this an automatic thing you do? And does your child FREAK? Some do. I remember being a child and being GROSSED out that my mother did that! EW!!

No, they spat into a handkerchief and then clean you with it - face,
hands and so on... Not with the finger, but with a salivated hankie! :-))

Yes, mom spit, whether on a tissue or a finger seems to be endemic and kid gross-outs are automatic. Could it be thats why moms do it...just a little bit of payback for those awful diaper days?

Normally a mom would do this to a baby or a youngster, but certainly not a child who is old enough to remember it.

I have done it occasionally. Only when it is an emergency, and plus if I've told them many times to clean thier face and they don't listen, it is a good learning experience for them, because I too remember how nasty it was. It smellsssss!!!

hahahhaha.. that is funny that you bring this up... i just did it to my 6yr old! my kids get like ewww mahhhh... i do it if i'm away from the sink... call it too lazy to get up and get the sponge haha.. or if it's too bad and needs to be wiped immediately!!
