The average Stye will last for about 3 days, keep a warm wet cloth over it for a bit if it irritates you.

It's best to see the doc. They may want to give you antibiotic drops to guard against an infection in your eye. A stye is like a pimple on or in your eyelid. And if it breaks, then all that yucky stuff gets inside your eye. Which is why infection can occure.

i took a q- tip with peroxide on it and lifted my lid a little another time i used a warm cloth on it then i stuck a sterile pin on the outside of my eye lid and barely pierced it a little it drained then i washed my then used eye drops but i took my son to the doctor and they gave him salve

They can go away on their own, but if it gets too swollen or red looking see your eye doctor.

i have never had a sty on my eyelid before so i would go check it out!
