My boyfriend of about a month now got me a right that cost $349 (christmas gift)...It's really weird wouldn't you think he would get me a braclet, chain, earings, you know something like that. But he brough me a ring, that as really expensive! Why do u think he did that? He's really sweet, and genuinely a nice person. But what do you think that represents to him about me?

He bought you a ring for christmas. that's it. Most guys don't sit in the jewelry store and think "what would best represent my girlfriend and how i feel about her?"... nope, doesn't happen. He just thought, "hey, that's a pretty ring, I bet she'd like it."

I think it means your his girl.
Plain and simple here, if you aren't comfortable with taking and wearing the ring, GIVE IT BACK. It's your finger and if you aren't ready to wear something so personal from a boyfriend of only a month, then graciously return it.
I'm sure he will expect to see it on your hand from time to time, and if you just simply go along w/ it to appease him, sooner or later you will feel pressure and more than likely not stay in this relationship.
Talk with him, let him know how flattering the idea of a ring is and in time possibly it will be more appropriate. Your relationship is young and if you can't express how you feel now, you really won't have a chance of making this relationship work.
Be considerate of his feelings but I think you two should talk about some things.

Rings are very nice not only do they represent an engagement for marriage but they also may represent friendship. Perhaps that's all he is trying to say, that he loves you as a friend and lover.

Don't freak over it... When he saw it he prob automatically thought of you. How long have ya'll been together? He just loves you... is what I would asume. Other guys if they have alot of money though it's not much of anything to spend that kind of money on a gift.... And for a ring... thats just what he found.

He may not have had other girls he liked as much so a ring is logical.I have bought rings for girlfriends in the past becauseit seemed to show more love than the other things.

He cares about you and wants to let you know. Don't complain. Just enjoy the ring and think of him everytime you look at it, and tell him that. He obviously went above and beyond, so appreciating it and letting him know will make him feel really good. Just think... Valentines Day is just around the corner!!

It could either be he is trying to buy you off, and I don't mean to sound so blunt here, but that might be a possibility- he just wants to bribe you or whatever.
Or, it could be that he really cares about you and that this ring represents how much he cares for you.
Talk to his friends to find out how he really, truly feels about you.
