like i know some of my buddys go for just personality but i go for both i like a woman with a pretty face and someone who is healthy
i am not really shallow but i cant see the relationship surviving without looks i am young 19. am i an a hole i like looks to everytime i go for personality it just dosent workout when it is both looks and personality

everybody is attracted to somebody based on looks at first... anyone else who says different is a liar.
You might talk to someone that you're not attracted to (because they're "ugly") but over time you might love their personality and want to be with them, but when you see someone you're attracted to, it's always because of looks.
I don't see a real problem with it, it's human nature.

There is a huge difference between being a shallow guy who won't consider a girl who isn't model perfect, and what you're talking about.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to be with someone who you find attractive. Of course personality matters the most, but if you don't feel anything romantic or physical, it most likely won't last.
Don't worry about what other people think. If you find a girl who you find cute and cool, go for it. :) There is no need to ever settle for anything less.

Initial attractions are based on appearance. If you were not phsically attracted to someone you wouldn't approach them. The hard part is going to be trying to find a girl who is pretty and isn't a b@*ch. Don't get stuck on the idea that your dream girl is going to be a supermodel who is dedicated to saving the world. Probably won't happen. I'm not suggesting you ever settle, simply suggesting that you keep your options open while looking for Mrs. Right.

There is a lot in personality and if you can get along with a person, but if your not physically attracted, then there is not something holding you to them. It is quite normal to want a physical attraction. Take care Heather
