how would i go about doing that?

if you had it professionaly installed, I would pay to have it removed. You might be able to work a deal to remove the stereo from your old car to a new one. Whatever you do, do not do anything that will cause any damage to the stereo or dashboard of the vehicle you are trying to sell.

im gonna agree with sparky348 if it was installed the correct way when purchased,just unplug the aftermarket harness and plug the factory harness back into the stock stereo,also be careful when removing the panels or dash in your car you dont want to break any clips or brackets that hold your stereo dash together,email if you have any Q"s

if you don't have the stock stereo call up local car stereo dealers and ask if they have any stock components they took out of a car that you could have cheap or call a junkyard

If it was done the correct way, just unhook the adapter harness from the factory harness and plug the stock radio into the factory harness.

How about you take it out the exact opposite way you put it in.
