Lake district, Cotswolds, spa retreat. Just get yourself a lovely hotel in the countryside, cos you're probably gonna spend most of your time in the hotel anyway, so what difference does it make if the hotel is in England or abroad? If you want to venture a little further afield, Scotland is lovely.
