God did not lie...Satan called God a liar because God said that if they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad they would die. He never said that they would not have that knowledge. Adam and Eve were created to live forever, and as long as they were obedient and allowed to continue eating from the tree of life, they would live forever. However, since they did not obey, in time they surely did die. However, they were given time to continue living so that God's purpose would be fulfilled, and that was to multiply. They passed on their imperfect genes to their offspring and death and sickness came to reside in the world, but it was their disobedience that brought sin into the world. Had they obey God, they would never have died and neither would their children. God set in motion at that time a plan to eventually restore mankind to their original perfect state, and that will soon take place.
John17:3: " This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

It is Genesis 2:17 that makes God a liar. Adam lives 900+ more years before dieing.

The trouble is that the serpent uses truth and lies and intertwines them. In order for it to be a lie, God would have had to tell Adam and Eve the tree of Life and the Apple were nothing special.
Where did it say that God said the apple was "no big deal, it won't open your eyes?".

Actually what one likes is the point. People can die or sacrifice their lives because of a lie. But if a lie that says you can believe Jesus so that you can live forever after life and will live in heaven, won't this be a better lie and what if it turns out to be true? Why do you like to hear a truth that says nonbelievers go to hell? If this is so, why not turn to a lie and hope to live? Have you ever been persuaded to go for a lie and stick to that until now, a lie that says killing a life is all right.

My mind is not as twisted as some. Just how does this make Jesus a liar? If Jesus is a liar, then that would make Lucifer truth, but the Bible says Lucifer was a liar from the beginning. Some people don't have understanding.
