This horrible history is not included in the teaching of Christianity. Some students learn this history and some scholars teach it but most Christians neither know nor understand the implications of Christianity's long and painful history.

>>Are there any sects of crhistianity which teach to their members the violoent history of Christianity?<<

Yes, but they usually just blame the Catholic Church. It is rarely mentioned that Protestantism has a violent history as well.

Well, if you think about it. It was not Christianity that made those decisions and did those horrible things. It was the Papacy and the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church is still doing a hideous Thing.

They condemn birth control, in an overpopulated world.

Why? The same reason they were blatantly violent in the past; They want to build and grow their empire. The main way they get new members is by way of promoting large families that propagate and furnish their children as new members.

How sick is that?

All teach this as part of their history. But each group or sect is under their own guise.

Most try to put the past behind instead of digging up bones and exhuming things better left alone.

of course we know that The Crusades was brought on by Islamic forces wiping out other Christians. the Inquistions was done by people who were not believers in Jesus Christ. and Christianity brought education , medicine and inovations to these people. unfortunately did not think about the dieses they brought with them. know that many horrible things that happened to Indian tribes happened because the Indians broke the peace treaties.

Only those who aspire to be preachers. They would have to learn all that. Normal ones like you and me will find this not necessary. Yes, it is not necessary, but to emphasize now that we must love our neighbors like we love ourselves because God is love and He first loves us. Christians are even commanded to love our enemies. If Christians achieve this, there would not be conflict that is to say all become Christians.
