Too short a distance to warrant the checking in etc. Most expensive part of a flight is take off so the distance needs to be worth leaving the ground for if you know what I mean. It's only 2 hours by road and rail, less on a good day. It'd easily takw as long to get a to the airport, check-in, clear security etc. Then you'd have to wait for baggage the other end. Just not worth it. Hope that helps.

Yes, it's crazy, isn't it ? It's not as if there were any trains, or buses, or motorways already making this journey, is it ? People get tired of walking all that distance, they want to burn fossil fuels! Start a protest group

Not enough demand. The distance is too short, and there are more viable alternatives, such as train or coach.

Because by the time you'd cleared airport security you could have walked there.

i would imagine it is because there is not enough demand or that it would cost to much compared to some more popular routes
