Wow, no, you're going to be fine!
I read an article a few years back... let's see, 2001-2002. I believe it was Reader's Digest.
Sleep sex falls under the general term "Somnambulism". It can be scary, but when you get help to understand and control it as best you can, it gets so much better!
The same article discussed sleeptalk, sleepwalking, and eating-
one woman woke up with a half-eatn baked potato and a STEAK KNIFE in her bed!
I wish I could quote my source, but I know what I read.
Take heart; you're going to be fine.
And maybe a librarian can help you research the article by including the steak knife bit...
Good luck!

This is not mental illness, but some neurologists/sleep specialists consider it a sleeping disorder if it happens alot. If it happened only once or twice I would not worry about it.

my husband has done this as well as me. I think it is the same action your body does as those who sleep walk. I don't think it is anything out of the ordinary. Just as long as you did not force yourself on her and woke up I wouldn't worry about it.
