Would you change your plans of moving to NYC after college, if you loved someone enough? You both don't plan to get married at this time, might think on it more down the line. If both know how much each other is in love, should both people change their future plans, or should one drop their plans and go with the other to NYC? Answer as best you can.. thanks

I wouldn't change my plan of moving to NYV after college even if i loved someone enough. The person i'm with may not be the one for me. I was in a relationship for three years and wanting to go to college outside of NYC. I decided to attend school in the city where I could be near her. Guess what, we broke up. She left me. Now, i'm stuck in the city, seeing her with her new love. Even if you love your lover a lot, don't let the relationship pull you down or stop you from what you want to do in life. Why? Because at the end of the day, you are the controller of your life's destination. Things happen for a reason. She/he has to understand that what you do is the future of you and her/him. If your lover doesn't understand you, then i'm sorry, you are gonna to have to end it. Should both people change their future plan? NO. You are probably very young. You have a long way to go in life. The best love that you can give it to someone is to let that person be who she/he is and let her/him grow. I let my ex go because I love her and plus she wants to be with and loves her new lover so much. Sometimes, love hurts but why holding or changing plan of the other one?

Move to where you want to go, and do what you wanna do first if you're not happy then you can work on that later.

Hopefully, you understand my point of view on life. I'm only 19 but it feels like im 45 somehow. Do whatever is best for you. If your love said that you are selfish for moving away. He or she's missing a big point. In my opinion, you are selfish when you don't love that person anymore and still want to have a hold of her.

(P.S. You will always love that person no matter what happened even if you moved 3000 miles away. That person will always be in your heart)

It depends on why you want to go to NYC. If it's a job offer, pack your bags, if you want to test the waters, Talk her into coming with you, if that won't work, give it a little time and then set your plans.
Good luck

No. I would go on to New York because people marry too early sometimes and one needs to experience life before marriage.

Don't change your plans unless you are going to get married. Otherwise, one of you will be unhappy when it ends.
