My parents took me to the doctor about this when I was little, but they just told them it was psychological. I hardly ever poo.Apparently you're supposed to every day. I go weeks, a month without. I eat loads of fruit and veg, drink water a lot, and never feel any discomfort or pain in my abdomen. It must be bad for me though-is my body just absorbing EVERYTHING, including the bad stuff, or is it all just sitting in me, waiting to give me cancer?Does anyone else have this problem, know how to fix it or what might cause it?

I had this problem since birth. It started to get worse in my 20's. When I became so uncomfortable I would take a laxative which started a laxative dependency. I never thought about going to the doctor. In my 40's I was miserable.Would only take a laxative on the weekends
because I worked and the whole process made me sick and at home on the weekends. One weekend the pain got so bad I had to be taken to the ER which led me to a gastroenterologist who performed surgery right away. I had an elongated colon and a blockage and was told I nearly died in surgery when they did a colon resection where they go in and in my case removed 40% of my intestines. For years I put this off thinking I'd end up with a colostomy bag but did not have to have that.Like you I ate good food and exercised. Happy to say I'm fine now.

You need to get a doctor to refer to you a specialist. I can't think of the correct term, but I went to one and he helped me a lot. Everyone has their own cycle, but not going for a month is way too long. You need to see the specialist to find out what to do and this will ease your mind.

what fruits and veges are you eating and how are they cooked?

if you are eating raw (or lightly cooked) fruits and veges, then you should be pooping regularly. Some fruits and veges have less fiber in them too, so, a grape has little fiber (really only the skin) where as spinich IS fiber.

if you are actually eating the raw, hi-fiber and still not pooping, you got a problem.

See your doctor. Get a referral to a Gastroenterologist. You could have something called Mega colon, and a specialist can help you.

See a specialist. Everyone has got to poo! Not all doctor's are good ones. Find one that is and that will help you.

Go to another doctor. You are supposed to go at least every day. Something up.

You are full of sh*t! If this were true...which it is cleary not. You would die. A week! A month! The toxicity off your waste would terminate organ function.

Maybe you should try a couple chili dogs, with all the extras and see if that helps you with a good blow out. If not well I wont include my other thought. Good Luck
