I would paint the walls cream and maybe have two stripes of red running along the wall horizontally all round the room, and maybe also treat yourself to a red rug if the carpet is light.

Red leather suite!? You're very brace with such a strong colour! Ummmm, I would have laminate floor laid and would seriously have to go with white walls - maybe accesories can warm it up a bit?. A big fluffy rug on the floor (god the colour's hard huh?) - sorry I've decided I can't help, apart from suggest you go run back to the shop and swap for a brown leather suite - far easier for a warm room then! - Good luck!

Maybe a navy blue and some gold or oriental colors, black and gold and white would look good! Buy a carpet runner for in front of the door, to help cut down on dirty footprints, it will be a life saver, or rather a carpet saver! lol! Possibly if you have room put a bench by door so people could remove their shoes before coming in?!? You could get black carpeting also, but it sucks to keep it clean also!Add lots of mirrors on the walls opposite of the windows to help lighten the room up!

A warm cream. There are loads of different creams. Make your suite the focal point of the room. You could get away with a cream carpet if you protect the area near the front door or you could lay down wooden flooring and have cream rugs.

There is a great tool on the web that can help you decide. You can check out all sorts of matches with a virtual decorator....and it's free! Check out this site and click on the virtual decorator tab in the left column.

As for colors, I suggest an ostrich feather beige which will keep the room airy yet warm. Add a few touches of dark chocolate brown (almost black) to bring in the asian touch and feel....
Keep in mind that you need 3 colors to have complete color harmony in a room. 1 dominant color, 1 medium color and 1 accent color. White is not a color in paint because it is the absence of all color and black is not a color because it is a mix of all colors. Black is used to ground all colors. But black and red can be harsh so that's where dark chocolate brown comes in....
You need to decide what mood you want the room to have... once you've done that, it'll be easy to figure out what colors you need.
Happy painting....and check out the virtual decorator.

You need something quite neutral on the walls. Try an ivory or vanilla colour it's not as harsh as white. Add a couple of pictures that are red themed.

it very much depends on the shade of red your suite is.
If browny red try a grey-blue or a colour with more blue than grey in it, browny grey, medium green shade or a greyed cream, purple-pink, tan-orange or rosy peach.
If pinky red then a dark jade, cream, yellow and maybe black, perhaps blues and greens.
If pillar box red then you could be bold and use golds and oranges, emerald green and a sky blue.
If orangey red try browns, yellows and cinnamon, cyan blue.
On the whole green works well because its opposite red on the colour wheel.
Red and blue work well too its just a matter of matching shades.

I would go with beige walls and wood or ceramic tile on the floor. Then bring the room together with a large area rug with complimentary colors.

Well I need more then this, what style are you, modern, Asian, industrial, all that would matter.
You could paint the walls a cool lighter blue, or gray, white is good too, This would give you a sharp, industrial, modern look.
You could use a tan, or a golden wheat type color it all depends on what your furniture looks like and what your accessories are.
