I think garage sales are an EXCELLENT place to get cheap furniture! Sometimes people move after only living in their housese for a couple years and the stuff is like brand new! Only way cheaper.

If you live in the Phoenix Arizona area there is a store called Terri's Consign and Design and they have consigned furniture and new furniture and will deliver to you. I furnished most of my house for $1400.00. This included a king size bedroom suite which included bed, dresser, armoire and two night stands, a couch, loveseat and nice coffee and end tables. If not in the Phoenix area look for a good consignment furniture store in your area and see what they offer. Good Luck.

Garage sales, but go early the pros get the good stuff early. If you actually want cheap press board buy new at discount stores. At garage sales you can get high quality with a low price.

Ashley Furniture is pretty cheap, yet very nice looking. You can also check to see if there is a Scratch and Dent store near you.
