i remember back in the day when I was single how cool the chicks were to talk to. Today ... its like everyone has a bad attitude, and I think the media, and the world in general has caused this change. Seems to me that my single friends go out, and all the woman out there just want the girls night out, not even interested in meeting someone, then they'll complain that there's no one out there for them. how weird has it gotten??

I agree. Times have changed.
Back in the 70s, people were more courteous and polite. People weren't as jaded.
I do believe people are getting smarter, but who cares if they're rude and miserable to be around.
I still prefer the older generation and their old fashioned values. People are more self-absorbed now. The new-fangled ideas about do it if it feels good is such short term thinking.

I live in Seattle, and up here it is considered 'polite' to be 'politically correct' about EVERYTHING, and some people who are trying to be 'p.c.' are NOT NICE at all, and that still gets through. But, if you are a single man and are out looking for a single woman to date you, I think that you are LOOKING IN THE WRONG PLACES. Try doing it 'the old-fashioned way' ... join groups where you can meet singles but are actually DOING something else you love. Make FRIENDS first, and then if 'anything good happens' it's likely to happen naturally.

My issue with people is I think a lot of folk are sooooo sensitive that its annoying...YOU included. "chicks' are more self-efficient and dependent today and not as many care to find that knight in shining armour, and just want to have fun...THEIR way!! Guys can and will come and go but GIRLS NIGHT OUT is what fun is really allllll about.

i noticed bc thyese days people are so in tot hemselves and could care less about others, now everything is about fashion and having the best material objescts, whats the point of success without anyone to share it with?

yeppz, and im 13, so ive experienced, asked why, many different answerrs, i dont like the world anymore...too many people are judgemental, and hurt too often...

most of the time unless your super cute or part of their clik they wont even talk to you which is rude. its sad but its a fact of life.
