made a pot of coffee enough for 6 people when it was just 2 people that lived in the house, would you consider her over-reacting by yelling at you that you made too much coffee??
My thinking is, might as well make a little more in case someone wants another cup, plus it is just wasted water if you have to pour it out you know???

Whoa......sounds like you're in for a heck of a rollercoaster ride!!!! I think the coffee wsa her masking something else goin on in her life. If she reacts like that, calmly sit her down and ask what's wrong. She'll probably surprise you. The coffee's not the issue here....

Nobody EVER get mad over something like that. something else is causing her stress or anger and that was the only way she could get it out.
Don't ask her outright. If its something she can't bring-up she won't just come out and say it when you ask about it.
When there is something on my boyfriends mind i engineer a long chat in bed with the lights out. After a while of talking about things which are close to us, it usually comes out.
But everyone is different.

She probably had PMS or something. Life's too short to nit pick over little things like that.....and you were right because it's better to make extra than to have to keep getting up and making more....it's just coffee!

Uhhh...way over reacting...with so many major things couples have to overcome coffee is such a little bitty thing...she may need some anger management.

I think she was just looking for something to complain about. And if you would have made just enough for 2 , chances are she would have complained you didnt make enough. Try talking to her and asking her what the problem is. Good Luck

Well, that could be considered over reacting. But some people like to conserve, which is not that uncommon, but yelling about it! Thats not neccesary.

I think she's definitely over-reacting. I mean, it's just coffee. It's not that expensive, and she shouldn't let little things like this bug her.

I agree with the having more just in case thing, she had no reason to get mad at you though. She's *completely* overreacting.
