Every Christian has the right to believe differently. Being a Christian does not mean we all must think the same. I know I am not luney tunes. Are you?

Mostly, yes. I consider myself Christian, although I do not have a set religion. I have been forced to churches all my life and taught Catholicism as I grew up. So I have discussed theology with many people, and most Christ-believers follow their religion blindly, it was written, so be it.... But most of them don't even know what is written. For example I give you a more accurate reading of the commandments beginning:

2. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;

3. you shall have no other gods before me.

4. You shall not make for yourself an image, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

So how many times have you heard that #4 as the second commandment, you probably haven't. It kind of screws up the whole thing of going to church to pray to a statue and cross. So the Pope says no more, 50% say OK 50% say new kind of Christianity, and with all the stuff the popes and other dioceses have omitted or rejected, it's no wonder there are so many types of Catholics, Christians, Protestants, and other Jesus-based religions. So I say they mostly are all crazy because they believe in some things they don't follow and follow in others that they don't believe. And when they say they believe, they have no idea what it is they believe in, yet they stand so firmly on those mysterious and malleable beliefs.

The problem most likely is that you dont' aggree with what you are being told by Christians, so you use it as an exuse to insult them by calling them names. Very childish!

I believe since you have have Chrsitianity explained to you, that you not only know what it is, but you willingly and consiously choose to dismiss what it is, because you choose not to accept Jesus as your personal Savior. With having that said..

You have the God given freedom to make that choice in your life. So stop calling those who have turned their lives over to the Lord names. Because nothing you can say can hurt us. Praise the Lord!

After a certain point in life, God will no longer send people to you to take you out of your darkenss of sin, and tell all future Christians this when it pertains to you....

Luke 9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

You will know when this has happened when you no longer have anyone coming to you to lead you into the loving arms of Jesus. That my friend shall be a sad day for you.

The definition of Christian is a follower of Christ. Unfortunity, over the centuries, the true meaning of what it means to be a Christian has becomed warped and twisted. Now people think they are Christians just because they attend Church.

In that sense, Christians are just following the instructions Jesus left them in the Book of Matthew, before his decsent into heaven; to tell the world about him. Not nessicarily to convert them, that is their choice, but to just tell the world about Jesus. People have misinterpreted that into converting, no matter what.

Rich,

Christ died FOR your sins by shedding God's perfect blood as a sacrifice, a substitute for me and for you and for ALL. He willingly laid down his life and allowed himself to be crucified to a cross. Christ was numbered in with the transgressing theives as they were hung (crucified) on their crosses, and he on his.

Believe in his shed blood as a once and final payment for your sin debt unto God, and put NO trust nor faith in...

...your "good deeds", best efforts, occultic practices, deep thoughts, pastor's teachings nor preists' homily's, religion(s) or religious dogma, world or personal circumstances, communion wafers, water baptism, philosophy, lifestyle, education, evolution, your senses, church attendance, karma, religious attitudes, feelings, family traditions, supposed "holy or religious saving" laws or ordinances, self serving prayers, society, other people's opinions or ideas, etc.

Don't believe what I say because I say it, inspect it all in the bible, God's word to see if what I'm saying is true or not; and do so with every single Christian (and non-Christian) to see if whether or not what they're saying lines up with God's word. Let GOD be true, and EVERY man a liar.

Christ alone went in your place as your substitute to pay for the sins you've already done, the one's you're currently doing, and all that you'll do in the future. The only way to be made perfect is to be in Christ.

It's nothing experienced nor felt, but known by reading what the scriptures say in the bible, the word of God.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved! (Acts 16:31) God will judge you to be whole and sinless in his eyes, imputing Christ's righteousness unto you; Christ's faith unto you; and you in Christ.

It all balances out....some of the most vocal that claim to be Christian are actually working their own agenda....same goes for the non-believers......either be part of the solution or part of the problem...they are the only two choices....if you are asking things to stir things up which are you?

not all who call themselves christians are
TRUE Christians unless they truly believe in the diety of Jesus Christ.....
that leaves out Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, many roman catholics and a hoard of others who have usurped the name of Christ for their own selfish purposes.
What true Christians want is to spread the good news of the Savior and to spend an eternity with Him in Heaven. It is that simple.
