Um I of course was not at your door but I see one of 2 possibilities for what happened.
#1:) A misunderstanding either on the part of your GF or on the part of the "Witnesses" in which one or both of them said something that the other took to mean something else.
#2:) They were not Witnesses at your door, either your GF mistook them or they were prettending, believe it or not it seems to be more and more common.
The reason I say this is because no Witness, unless they were way off base, would ever say someone would become possesed just for not being a Witness.
Often I hear stories of supposed Witnesses who have "seen this" or "heard that". Often it is former Witnesses who know the Bible well enough to try to scare others.
Do I believe in Demons? Yes. Do I believe that Demonic posetion has happened? Yes. Do I believe that line of bull those "Jehovah's Witness" knock offs told you. Not for a minute.
I am sorry your GF is upset. Please appologise to her on behalf of all Jehovah's Witnesses. IF you want you can contact your local Kingdom Hall, and try to see if these 2 really were Witnesses. If by some chance they were, they need a talking to. Hope her Baby is fine. Hope this helps.

The Witnesses seem to have the talent for "provoking" the Demons. May be true and may not be. Most of the so called eye witness stories are third and fourth hand and go back and forth on the web like everything else. Pretty soon, somebody slipping on a banana peel became demon possessed and was picked up and thrown down. The blood probably came from the injury, the "folding in half" part possibly just seemed to be that way. Sometimes enthusiam for your beliefs gets the better of you.

The so-called anecdote related in this so-called "question" does not seem in harmony with the house to house ministry of Jehovah's Witnesses. They simply DO NOT go from house to house to discuss issues related to demon possession and supernatural occurrences. Witnesses do not speculate about or work to sensationalize such stories.
Admittedly, Jehovah's Witnesses will address (from the bible) any sincere question a householder presents. But their main message is of "good news". Jesus Christ did not found the Christian congregation to propound negativisms and frighten householders, but to preach the "good news" of the Kingdom. While that message does include a statement of judgment against the demons, it is primarily intended to educate and motivate humans (who must repent); it would be a mistake to pretend otherwise.
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations
(Luke 9:6) They went through the territory from village to village, declaring the good news
(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
In fact, at Matthew chapter 13, Jesus explained that all of self-described "Christianity" (true and false) would perform a service over the centuries in matters regarding bible translation, continuing respect for the bible, and in laying the groundwork for the ingathering prophesied to occur in "the conclusion of the system of things".
(Matthew 13:47-49) The kingdom of the heavens is like a dragnet let down into the sea and gathering up fish of every kind. 48 When it got full they hauled it up onto the beach and, sitting down, they collected the fine ones into vessels, but the unsuitable they threw away. 49 That is how it will be in the conclusion of the system of things: the angels will go out and separate the wicked from among the righteous
Note that it is not humans but angels who primarily perform the separating work. Of course, only Jesus and Jehovah make the final judgment regarding each individual.
(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment
(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me
(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day
(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed

ok many religions believe that demonic possesion is a fact.however the things those people told her are NONESCENCE.if a person is mentally weak, a demon might find it easy to possess them. in my opinion your friend should calm down, find her strength again and wear an amulet for protection(cross, pentacle, etc) or even meet a priest of the religion she follows.if she's not that religious the best thing she can do is (as i said before) find her strength, believe in herself again and you should help her.make her feel protected and comfortable.

Demonic possession is real. I have not read about it in the Old Testament but the New Testament definitely talks about it. Many times Jesus casted demons out of people. As far as the Jw saying your friend may have demons, I believe we all have our own unfamiliar spirits. These spirits can be fear, control, envy, hate, anger and so on.

It's all just a bunch of hocus pocus. Little hint...never, EVER open the door before seeing or asking who it is first. Could be someone worse than a few bible thumpers.

There are lots of unexplained incidents which may suggest there is something to it. However I would be very wary of anyone who comes to your door and promises salvation if you just switch to their particular brand of religion.
I think that there are cases of Spirit possession, but I don't think any one brand of religion has all the answers, and the Jehovah's Witnesses should not be using scare tactics in their proselytizing. It is unethical!

You guessed it with the hocus pocus.....How many people come into the ER who were "folded in half" by unknown means?
There is no scientific data to suggest demons (or god for that matter) exist., or don't exist.
