My 21 year old brother has just gotten out of state prison and has a felony for identity fraud. I know the navy or air force probaby wont take him, but what about the army or marines?

Tell him to talk to a recruiter. One of my relatives is going thru the process of joining now and he has 2 felony's that he committed as a juvenile ( under 17), they are working with him to enlist. He is sorry for what he did wrong as a teenager in choosing the wrong crowd as friends. The Military will be the best thing to help him get his life on the right path. Tell him
Thank You for trying to join and i hope he succeeds in whatever branch he chooses. I have a son in the Marines and he loves it.

not a chance...
if he really wants to push it he can apply then ask for a review but that's not something that normally happens unless he already has a very need skill. Oh and big time forget the Marines...at best they'll be polite when they show him out the door.

Not a chance. ANY felony conviction will PERMANENTLY disqualify you from military service.
