I would hold off giving her any dairy products for a few days and make sure she is holding everything you feed her down. Then in a few days give her a cup of milk and she if she can handle it,if it comes up,she could be lactose intolerant, talk to you doctor, and see what the y recommend!!

Hi, I don't believe that your little girl has suddenly developed an intolerance to milk and lactose. Her symptoms are so common to the recovery from a virus infection. Limit her dairy intake for at least a week. Dairy products are known to aggravate recovery from a virus related bug. Wash her digestive system out with lots of water and tempt her with foods that are 'dairy free'. Small yet frequent meals are preferable at this time to three large meals, for breakfast, dinner and tea. Ensure that your daughter is urinating frequently and that her stool pattern is unchanged. If you are worried about either of these - consult your GP. Everything will be fine, in a weeks time you will wonder why you were so worried.
Good luck - Maggie Ann

I think it is because she has not completely recovered from the flu. Dairy is very hard on a childs stomach if they are sick. My daughter went through the same thing. Just keep her diet very mild for a few days. She will be back to normal shortly. If after a few days of a low key diet, it keeps happening, then I would take her to see the doctor, but she should be fine.

She may still have a touch of the virus and her stomach just can't handle the dairy right now. She how she is in a few days and if it still continues then take her to the doctor.

When I had gastroenteritis, my doctor told me to stay away from dairy products completely and then to reintroduce them gradually only after I hadn't had any nausea for 24 hours. I can't remember her exact explanation, but I seem to think it was that the sugars in dairy foods feed the bug.
I've always followed this advice, and it seems to work.

I would think intolerance is unlikely to happen so quickly. More likely that the bug is still in her system. Might be worth keeping to very bland food for a week or more and drink plenty of liquid or water based vitamin drinks.

dairy foods and drinks have a tendancy to curdle in the stomach so try not to give her any for at least 24 hours then give her little amounts and see how she is. if it persists take her to the doctor.

wait until she is fully recovered and then give her milk dairy products again and see if she still gets sick when eating them. it is unusual that it's dairy products that is doing it to her. i know milk can turn your stomach when your sick. try and leave her without until she is fully better
