Hi There; Registered Nurse here; No it's not to late to see a doctor, however it sounds like you need a specialists such as; orthopedic physician. As for as Osteoporosis, well you would be extremely young to have this condition, however it's not unheard of. You would be amazed at what an orthopedic doctor might be able to do for you. Even though you've had a problem since 8 years of age, my goodness over past twenty years or so, orthopedic problems have many more positive outcomes, and rehabilitation treatments to help one to even over come many ortho related problems. Excellent question, now get going and find you a Orthopedic Doctor, and get back in the game.

I think you should see a doctor. At your age, it's probably not osteoporosis, especially since you've had something going on there since childhood, but it could be some kind of bone disorder that needs to be checked out. And it's never too late. It's better to see a doctor now than to wait until something worse happens to your leg.

It's never too late to see a doctor. The osteoporosis test is one of the simplest they can do. If it's not that, they can probably find what the problem is and treat it. It may be as simple as some physical therapy to build the muscles in that leg. Good luck!

Unless you have NO calcium in your diet at all, I wouldn't think it would be Osteoporosis. That is a serious loss of calcium in your bones.
Your only 23 of course it isn't too late. Make an appointment with your Dr. and explain the problem and ask for a referral to a specialist. It could have to do with the muscle attachment in your hip or knee or ankle. Make that appointment OK?

You should definitely see a doctor. This could be something serious that could get worse. There may be nothing that can be done, but if it's something that can be corrected, and you don't get it taken care of, you'll regret it later.
Osteoprosis is quite unusual in someone your age but there are alot of other things that can cause a similar feeling to what you are describing.

It's never too late to see a doctor, and that's what you should do. Either you will find out a treatment or you can put your mind at ease.

What you THINK is irrelevant. You are not a doctor. Either stop worrying about it or see your doctor. When you want to know what causes a medical problem, you stop guessing and see your doctor.
