tell her right away. if the paint isn't cracked and its a small dent on a metal panel, you can call up Dent Wizard or other Dent Removal services. If the paint has been cracked then its a body shop issue.

I heard a story where he told his mother that he had flunked out of school, but that was okay because his girlfriend who got busted for drug trafficing is pregnant and now he can spend time with her. BUT, not really mom, I just had a little fender bender. Noone hurt. Sorry! I'll pay to repair.

Ask her what she wants first the good news or the bad.
If she goes for the good news. tell her that the airbags in her car do work.
If she goes for the bad tell her that the break system of her car it is not compatible with your foot.

its better to tell her right away,than to wait,,the longer you wait the madder she may get about it,id just be strait with her and tell her how and why it got dented,this way your being honest with her,and she probably wont get to upset,its always better to tell the truth,this way you only have to tell the story one time,,good luck,hope this help,s.

in case you tell them , you're grounded and could no longer get your license for a month or 2. in case you do no longer tell, and that they discover out, you're lifeless. i wouldn't in any respect enable a infant who did that and concealed it to get a license.
