I received my first w2 form this weekend, and wanted to get a head start on filing it, so I can get some money back. However, I have two more w2's coming. Would I need to wait until I receive them all?

You must wait to receive them all. Only one return per year allowed.

You could file now and then file an amended return later, but it's really not worth the effort. You are better off to wait.

Yes, you need to add them all up and file one return showing all of them. If you try to get a head start by filing just part of your income, you'll just cause yourself extra paperwork and aggravation down the line. Don't do it.

You can always file an amended return; however, I would highly suggest you wait for them all. If you don't want to wait, you can also use your last pay check from those companies.

Why not decrease your withholding so that you are not chomping at the bit to get a refund?

The Treasury is not paying you any interest on that money that you will get as a refund.
