I read the question just posted and now I'm curious. How many dogs have you owned and tell me all about them! I'll start off...

I've owned 4 dogs total.

Tasha -- She was a Boxer - Great Dane mix. She lived to be 15 almost 16 years old. Cancer, paralysed from waste down. She was very enthusiastic.

Cupcake -- 8 years old. A miniature long-haired dachshund. Ate anti-freeze poured on our lawn by some punk. More of a laid-back dog.

Buffy -- She was a cocker spaniel. She lived to be 15 yrs. old. Cancer in her brain. She calmed down in her later years but was a very playful pooch.

Lucky - 4 years old. Rottweiler Dalmatian mix. Still alive and very healthy! The most hyperactive large dog you've ever seen!

Please elaborate! Thanks! :D

Waya- Siberian Husky. My first dog after leaving my moms home. She was great. Had to re home her because our neighbors were killing our dogs.

Zeus- Siberian Husky. He got him when he was 3 yrs old. He had an outdoor life and freaked out when I tried to bring him indoors. So he remained outside. He was killed in a freak lightening hit.

Beiger- Chow/Lab mix. Was actually hubby's dog. She was very smart. But was stolen from our yard.

Spirit- White Siberian Husky- Poisoned by neighbor. They thought my sibes her wolves. Stupid rednecks!

Kota- Blue Merle Rough Collie. My current dog. She's my big baby. Very loving and the best babysitter I could ask for!

It's too many years to count back to them all. lol But at present I'm owned by 4 Great Danes - two boys and two girls, all neutered and spayed.

Kaleb - 4 year old black male. A big boy, and very intimidating to see, but actually just a big chicken who would run the other way if you said BOO to him

Rocky - 2 1/2 year old brindle male. Rocky had a leg and shoulder amputated when he was 3 weeks old. It doesn't keep him down one little bit. He can run as fast as the others, only can't run very long. Goes up and down stairs, is a regular Houdini, he can get out of any crate, and if he wants to see what is on the other side of the fence, he just pulls a picket off and walks through! A real character!

Strata - 2 1/2 year old black female. Half sister to Kaleb, who I rescued from starvation and abuse a few months ago. Very sweet and gentle, just loves my husband and wants to follow Daddy everywhere.

Starlight - 2 1/2 year old fawn female foster. Rescued from appalling situation, and here until we find her a special home. Very happy to be here, and a great cuddlebug.

I've been owned by Great Danes for 30 years.

Dogs have always bee a huge part of my life since I can remember, and I also have done rescues. So I have had lots of dogs.
My first dog was a Lhasa Apso named Muffin. I had her for about 5 years then gave her to a family with no young kids, Muffin did not like children
The second dog I had was Reo, a Red Healer/Aussie Cattle dog. She was the absolute greatest dog ever. We also had horses and she was the greatest herding dog. She died at 17 from old age.
We usually have more than one dog at time so around that time we had Oreo, a Border Collie, and Courtney a Welsh Corgi. Oreo was the greatest but died at 3 from a brain tumor. And Courtney we had for 3 years but gve her to a home with no horses. She thought she was tough enough to herd but almost got killed every time. So for her safety we gave her away.
In her place we got Buddy a St. Bernard as a rescue and he lived to be 10 and past away from heart failure.
We had two German Shepards, Lady and Lassie who we had for 8 years and both died drom natural causes.
I also had a Rottweiler for 12 years named Shannon. She was one of the best. She was loyal, loving and a dedicated family dog.
I also had a collie named Kelly, a blue healer/aussie sheperd named Diapers, Both I had for two years and were rescues. After rehabiltation I adopted them into new homes.
I had another rescue that was a Pekingese/Lhasa mix named Missy. She was older when I adopted her and past away at 14.
Then I rescued an Akita named Yogi and after 3 years of trying to rehabilatate him it went wrong and it ended saddly.
Now I have a 4 year old Pit Bull Remy and my baby who is a year old yellow Lab, named Tritan Bear. Both are the greatest, sweetest, loving dogs. And I would not give the two troublemakers up for anything.

My first dog was a beagle named Honey. She was so sweet. She died at the age of 11 from cancer.

Muffin was a terrier mix. LOved to drink Pepsi out of anyone's glass while they weren't looking. She would hide behind the couch and bite my sisters butt when she walked accross the room.

Cupcake was a Schnoodle. Best dog I have ever had. She was terrified of tunnels, flies and bees. She was truly a little lady. She passed away at 13 from kidney disease.

Coco is a Lhasa-Poo. Smartest dog I had. Shes still living at almost 15. She would come with me to nursing homes for pet therapy. I had her in 6 pet contests and she won everytime.

Punkin is also a Schnoodle. I searched for months for another one of this breed because of Cupcake. ..WRONG!!!! Her name is Punkin because she is a PUNK. Alpha dog to Coco and Buddy. Guards the food and water and won't let them near me. She is my bad one. She will be 12 in June.

Buddy is a schnauzer mix. My sweet baby boy.Rescued him from a shelter. He was terribly abused. Buddy was diagnosed with bone cancer almost 4 years ago. The vet said he had maybe one year to live. In April 2006 Buddy had an operation for cancer in his mouth. The vet said he has 2 months to live. He will be 12 years old in June and still making a liar out of the vet. Guess he's not ready to leave me yet.

I had many dogs as a child, as we lived on a farm on a dead end road, and numerous dogs would be "dropped" and I would always be dragging another home.
Currently I have a male pit bull about 4 years old, and a dachshund that we estimate to be approximately 13 years old (we rescued her from the pound 11 years ago).
