Is this some sort of psychological ambush, or what? My biggest trouble is I ENJOY smoking... I know it is bad for you but I just can't seem to give it up....

Also, why is it more difficult for women to quit than men?

well, find what motivation works best for you. For me, it's money....I calculated the total cost just in purchasing cigs over the course of my lifetime assuming I lived to be 80 (not that I would as a smoker) and thought about all the things I could do.
Plus, I thought about all the really hot girls that told me they don't date smokers....
So, sex and money were too good motivators for me....
Everyone enjoys smoking, it would be easier to quit if it hurt....
So yeah, its a psychological ambush, but you just have to outsmart yourself...
I'm clever enough to know I'm pretty dumb so outsmarting myself wasn't too difficult.

I was a smoker for many years and I did give it up after becoming sick . I knew smoking reduced my anxiety and so some depression . I knew I used smoking as a substitute for love but if you don't see love around what will you chose.
