Actually years ago..and i am talking "way back" there were chicken and waffle restaurants. Never could see it myself. However, consider crepes and chicken? Would maybe go great for a brunch.

There is a restaurant in California called Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. It is in largely urban areas, and you get looked at a little funny if you are not black and go there to eat, which is the case for me. But a friend introduced me to the place and I must say that it goes pretty well together, fried chicken and waffles with syrup. I think they are open pretty late, so it can be had for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

Typically this would be served at brunch. In the south there are many places that serve chicken and waffles together for breakfast/lunch/dinner. So I say if they can do it with waffles why can't you do it with pancakes. Personally I like potato's with chicken and bacon with pancakes though but wtf lets try it!

I eat a lot of wierd food combinations, but i'm going to have to say, chicken and pancakes nover go together... unless of course, you have chicken salad and panckaes at brunch. but thats still a bit of a streach.

I know there's a restaurant down south somewhere that serves fried chicken and waffles together (gross!) but I've never heard of chicken and pancakes. Maybe that's what you're thinking of instead???

Whether they do or don't go together, how could a few hours be the determining factor?
